Stanley Kubrick, Wildfox & More
Last couple of days in photo form. I got the honor of being able to go to the Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the LACMA last night. It was a college student only event: fun atmosphere, food and people.
Went to a Wildfox sample sale in downtown this morning...FIDM girls were hauling ass in that showroom (I assume most of them were from FIDM, I didn't see any familiar faces and let's get real, who else would wake up that early for a sample sale on a Friday morning?). Apparently people lined up for it 2 hours in advance (doors opened at 9 AM). That's a lot of commitment. I skedaddled on over at 9:15 and had to wait in this line for about 35-40 minutes. I wish I could say it was worth it like the UNIF sample sales are but it was quite a disappointment. I was hoping for better discounts and more current merchandise. All in all, it was quite an interesting experience.
